Our Story

After many years of working in tourism in Seville and Spain, I saw that vistors to the city were ticking off the "must dos" in the city centre but rarely scratching beyond the surface of city. And while I love getting lost in the Santa Cruz neighbourhood and visiting some of my favourite tapas bars in the centre of the city, in reality what's captured my heart is what's found when you look a little bit further. With my sevillano partner Eduardo, we spend our weekends weekends discovering new great local haunts to eat in Seville's neighbourhhoods and the towns around Seville, escaping to the beach or into the nature in the Seville, Cádiz and Huelva provinces, or simply just looking out for a new and interesting activity to do. In fact, we hardly ever walk past Seville's Cathedral! Seeing so many people miss the beauty that lies beyond the famous sights of Seville inspired us to share our experiences with others and help people discover the real Seville and Andalusia, what you see when you leave the city centre. From the food, the wine, the beaches, the nature, and everything in between!

Our Mission

We are passionate about introducing our guests to what lies beyond the city centre, through our carefully crafted experiences made up of amazing local food and wine and places locals actually go, escapes to the nature and small towns that you've heard about but not known where to start when planning a visit, and a close-up look at local culture that can only be experienced with insider knowledge.

Our Team

We are a small, passionate team of locally based Seville lovers who, along with our expert local guides, are here to share with you our region that we love so much.

Cyra Alcock

Raised in Sydney, Australia, Cyra left nearly 20 years ago to explore Europe and has never looked back. Over the years she has lived and worked around the UK, Italy, Portugal and Spain, and for the last 8 years she has been based in Seville. She's guided adventure tour groups across Southern Europe, introduced guests to the culinary delights of Seville, and designed award-winning culinary experiences in Spain and Europe.

Eduardo Díaz Parrado

Eduardo, or Edu, originally from Seville's Triana neighbourhood, has lived most of his life in Seville's Aljarafe region. He loves exploring the bars and bodegas of the small towns and he is proud of his local food, produce, and culture from this part of Spain. A biologist by trade, he is passionate about plants and animals, and loves all hikes and other experiences out in the nature that can be found around his hometown and beyond.
